Pre/Post Sales Engineer - AWS and/or Azure

Our client, a leading nationwide VAR of Cisco, Microsoft, EMC, VMware, and Netapp, is actively seeking a Sr. level

Solutions Architect. This role is a blend of Pre Sales responsibilities and Post Sales.

 

This opportunity is specific to AWS or Microsoft Azure Cloud based solutions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers on designated solution focus area
  • Assist sales team with overall account planning as it relates to technical aspects of hardware, software, and services opportunity qualification and development
  • Complete and author technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses
  • Develop and finalize solution architecture/design and detailed line item configurations and/or bill-of-materials (BOMs)
  • Develop and finalize solution proposal and/or presentation of recommended solutions
  • Lead technical scoping/reviews with sales team and customers for Statement of Work (SOW) generation, planning and designing solutions 
  • Design, Configuration, and implementation experience

 

 

  • Strong experience in pre-sales and post sales for a relevant technology
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in selling, architecting, and/or implementing AWS solutions
  • Conceptual knowledge of broad Cloud capabilities and hands on experience with one or more cloud technology platforms (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Demonstrated ability to write technical documents with fine attention to detail
  • Certified AWS Solutions Architect, preferred.
  • College diploma or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of IT services and IT services delivery models
  • Exceptional cross-functional team collaboration skills
